The Business Development Director will play a crucial role in driving the revenue growth of QYOU USA Inc. by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the advertising, media, social media, influencer marketing, and creative services landscape.

Client Acquisition:
Bring existing direct brand relationships to QYOU while identifying and targeting new potential clients across various industries.
Develop and execute strategies to attract new business opportunities.
Stay abreast of client needs and industry trends.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals and marketing needs.
Speak at and attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate leads.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, account management, social, influencer, studio) to develop compelling proposals and pitches.
Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals to prospective clients.
Develop and implement effective business development plans to achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets.
Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients.
Ensure contracts and agreements are finalized in a timely manner.
Monitor and report on the progress of business development initiatives.
Market Expansion:
Identify opportunities to expand QYOU’s presence in new markets or industries, including CPG and QSR.
Develop and implement strategies to enter and succeed in these markets.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and successful delivery of client campaigns.
Provide feedback and insights to improve service offerings and client satisfaction.
Pipeline Management:
Create and manage a qualified pipeline of leads and prospects.
Maintain personal projections on a quarterly and annual basis.
Track progress utilizing QYOU’s CRM and other tracking tools on a weekly basis.
Client Insights:
Collect insights into clients’ organizational structures, marketing strategies, and target demographics.
Participate in weekly meetings, proposal meetings, product trainings, and one-on-ones.
Account Reviews:
Spearhead quarterly account reviews with clients.
Work closely with account management teams and marketing to meet client objectives and exceed client expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
Develop, lead, foster, and grow existing relationships and deals from start to finish.
Qualify and develop leads that meet organizational standards and requirements to close by connecting deeply with many stakeholders at matrixed organizations.
Work directly with leadership to help develop pricing, deal structure, proposals, and presentations to drive forward partnerships.
Negotiate terms and close deals.
Collaborate with Marketing, Account Teams, Talent Teams, and Creative Teams to continually develop the best possible solutions for clients and prospects.
Develop sales strategies to break into new and adjacent verticals.
Conduct tailored outreach and presentations with marketing to prospective qualified leads and convert them into clients.
Accurately forecast, maintain personal projections on a quarterly and annual basis, and keep the sales database up-to-date on a weekly basis.
Collect insights into a client’s organizational structure, online and offline marketing strategy, and ideal demographic.
Track and report progress within our software systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data for informed decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the advertising, media buying, social media, influencer marketing, or creative services industry.
Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing new clients.
Strong understanding of advertising, social media, influencer marketing, content creation, creative development, and media buying processes, tools, and trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting and understanding deal flow, planning cycles, and buying signals.
Creative strategist with a knack for forging new connections.
Strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Working knowledge of CRMs and marketing technology.

A strong track record of steering a $5-$10M portfolio.
