    OVERVIEW

    QYOU is looking for an LA-based Senior Manager, Casting & Talent Sourcing to join our growing, award-winning Influencer Marketing team. At The QYOU we harness the power of creators and their communities for world-class influencer marketing / social media campaigns for leading brands and clients such as Paramount, HULU, Disney, OUAI, Ubisoft, CAPCOM, Warner Bros, Sony, and many more.

    As Senior Manager, Casting & Talent Sourcing, you will lead a small team in identifying new talent and maintaining a database of existing talent to create custom lists that fulfill the specific criteria of each campaign, and casting the right set of creators to fit the creative and budgetary needs of each project. You will work closely with internal Integrated Marketing and Studios teams (including Talent, Production, Operations, etc) during both pre and post sale of a campaign, and report to the VP of QYOU Studios.

    The right candidate will be highly organized and creative with experience in casting projects for a wide range of different genres & interests. The ability to handle multiple projects at the same time is essential, as is a proactive approach to problem solving and communicating with the wider teams. Ideal candidates also have direct experience in the social media/short form space and a passion for content creation. Candidates for this position are highly motivated, adaptable, self-assured team players with strong communication skills and willingness to learn. Hands-on production skills are a huge plus. 

    This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role requiring attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and ongoing projects within various stages of campaign execution. 

    *Please note that we are currently working remote but have occasional in-person content shoots. LA area location is preferred for on-site production and time zone alignment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Client Acquisition:

    • Identify creators and compiling talent lists that fit the criteria of each campaign.

    • Cast campaigns with the correct mix of talent, in budget and in line with creative direction.

    • Lead a small team of casting associates, delegating tasks and developing a positive creative environment.

    • Communicate talent updates, both internally to wider teams and externally to clients.

    • Track campaigns through multiple stages of execution, ensuring that talent selections are performing as intended.

    • Maintain a database of talent contacts, pricing and other key info for wider company reference.

    • Help draft talent instructions for creators, assist with mock videos where necessary.

    • Contribute to on-location shoots with talent where necessary.

    • Stay current on ongoing changes of major social platforms (e.g., posting specs, best practices) and their potential impact on creative deliverables.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience. Must be a quick learner and not be afraid to ask questions or for help

    • Interest in entertainment (film, tv, gaming) and basic industry knowledge.

    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently 

    • Hands-on production or live event coordination experience is a major plus.

    • Basic knowledge of content creation and development processes and/or social media marketing on social platforms, especially TikTok.

    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

    • Experience with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and DropBox / Box

    ROLE SUMMARY
    The Senior Director (or Director) of Account Management & Planning will lead a team of Account Managers, fostering strong client relationships and overseeing the end-to-end campaign lifecycle. This role encompasses media planning and buying, contract negotiations, campaign execution, and regular performance reporting.

    We are looking for a candidate with proven expertise in managing large-scale, multi-industry campaigns across sectors such as entertainment, gaming, fashion/retail, QSR, technology, and consumer goods. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, driving collaboration on strategic initiatives from proposal development through to reporting.

    The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-driven team player with exceptional client management and social media expertise, comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment that demands strategic execution and meticulous attention to detail.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee pre-sale planning and post-sale execution, including media planning, pricing, contract negotiation, and execution, ensuring every detail is accurate and deadlines are met.

    • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, managing expectations and facilitating communication.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless campaign execution.

    • Analyze and optimize campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to agency and client teams.

    • Track, report, and analyze campaign performance, sharing key metrics and insights on a regular basis.

    • Develop streamlined processes to improve efficiency and identify unique campaign opportunities.

    • Contribute to RFP responses and the creation of compelling media plans.

    • Stay informed on the latest trends and updates across major social platforms, understanding their impact on client deliverables.

    • Help the strategy team productize platform-focused ad solutions that can add value to programs and help drive media spends and overall revenue

    • Partner with the Finance team to ensure accurate billing and invoicing.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Account Manager, preferably within influencer marketing, talent management, or social media/digital marketing.

    • Proven experience managing influencer campaigns and working in a client-facing capacity.

    • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • In-depth understanding of social media platforms, including ad management tools.

    Relationship Building:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.

    Strategic Planning:

    Negotiation and Closing:

    Account Reviews:

    • Spearhead quarterly account reviews with clients.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop, lead, foster, and grow existing relationships and deals from start to finish.

    • Track and report progress within our software systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data for informed decision-making.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the advertising, media buying, social media, influencer marketing, or creative services industry.

    • Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing new clients.

    • Strong understanding of advertising, social media, influencer marketing, content creation, creative development, and media buying processes, tools, and trends.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting and understanding deal flow, planning cycles, and buying signals.
